Newly opened in December 2000, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort boasts a world class ski facility offering "champagne powder skiing".  Enjoy a ride on the Golden Eagle Express, an 8 passenger Gondola, up to the Eagle's Eye Restaurant, the highest restaurant in Canada at 7,700 feet/ 2350 m.  Rather Heli-ski or Cat-ski? Golden offers the ultimate powder skiing no matter where you go.  

Prefer Cross Country Skiing ?   Visit the Dawn Mountain Nordic Trails at the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, offering 12km of groomed trails or check out the 5km loop around the Golden Golf Course Moonraker Trails

Snowmobilers paradise!

Ride Quartz Creek for its outstanding system of trails and virtually endless backcountry terrain. The season runs from November to May (sometimes June if you go high!). Riding in open valleys and alpine areas will bring you back for another exciting experience. Don't have a sled??  Not to worry, you can rent one through Kickass Sleds They carry both 600cc and 800cc Summits.
